"Animal Kingdom Explorers!” for ages 4-11, at Newtown Twp. Administration Building, 100 Municipal Dr., Newtown. Join the fun learning about animals and how they live. Use a microscope and experiment with worms, bones, insects, fossils, and puppets. An art project will also be used to enhance learning. Participants under six require an adult partner. "AN EVENING IN THE GARDENS" second annual Hortulus Farm & Museum, Thompson Mill Road. fundraiser tour to benefit the Village Library of Wrightstown, on Sat. May 11, 2013 between 5:00PM and 8:00PM (rain date Sun. May 12th). The event is open to the public but is not handicap/wheelchair accessible. Tickets are available at the library, 727 Penns Park Rd. Wrightstown or by mail-in form from www.wrightstownlibrary.org for $25.00 in advance and will be sold at the event for $30.00 at the farm door. Tickets are tax deductible. Guests will be inspired by over 30 acres of an original William Penn land grant of 1690 while enjoying wine, cheese, music and raffle. In addition to the gardens guests are invited to stroll the famed Impressionist paintings of local artists as well as over 1,000 gardening books in the horticultural library.
