LCA presents six scholarships to local students

The 2009 Langhorne Council for the Arts Scholarships were presented to six very talented musicians from Neshaminy schools at LCA's Spring Soiree on May 1st at the studios of Nina and Michael Wommack. The scholarship was established in 2008 to assist middle and high school students in their pursuits of the visual and performing arts. Each awardee received $250 dollars to pursue enrichment experiences in the arts. The ceremony was attended by LCA Board members, Borough Council officials, community and artist members of LCA, and the recipients and their families.
