“So What IS in the Michener Museum Archives?”

The New Hope Art League is excited to hear Lisa Tremper Hanover’s, CEO and Director of the Michener Museum, answer to “So What IS in the Michener Museum Archives?” at their meeting, 7pm, Tuesday, Mar. 28 at St. Martin of Tours church school cafeteria, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope, PA.  Free and open to the public.

As leader of the Michener Art Museum program, Hanover has overseen the transformation of the physical facility with new façade landscaping, revitalization of permanent collection galleries, refreshed curatorial efforts, a celebration of the Museum’s 25th Anniversary of operation, and negotiated for the highly successful exhibition “From Philadelphia to Monaco: Grace Kelly – Beyond the Icon” presented in 2013-2014 to over 100,000 visitors.  The Michener was accredited by the American Alliance of Museums in 2001 and achieved subsequent reaccreditation in 2016. A leader in the museum field, Hanover has conducted numerous Museum Assessment Program reviews and served on AAM Accreditation teams.  She is a dynamic and engaging speaker; don’t miss this opportunity to listen to her.
