Citizen Science program to count butterflies in the meadows, such as the Swallowtails, Buckeyes, Sulphurs, Skippers, Blues, Admirals, Hairstreaks and Cabbage Whites. Learn to identify different butterfly species and the native plants they rely on for survival. Please bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them, water, sunscreen, and a hat. A camera with a telephoto lens is welcome. A $3 fee, which will be sent to support the North American Butterfly Association, is requested. Counts are open to public participation and new participants are encouraged, no experience necessary!
