Langhorne Concerts in the Park are presented every other Wednesday at 7:00 PM on the corner of Maple and Bellevue Avenues. These free concerts are sponsored and produced by the Langhorne Business Association.

Shoe-sorting party nets 20,000 pairs

Reuseyourshoes.org, an 18-month-old grassroots, non-profit group dedicated to recycling used shoes back onto the feet of people who need them, recently hosted a “sorting party” at the Langhorne Presbyterian Church, where they netted about 20,000 pairs of shoes to distribute.

Beneficiaries range from homeless shelters to community outreach centers, to anyone who is in need.

This monthly ritual of pairing, tagging, and grouping has gone viral, growing from a one-man show (founder Kevin Kane) to including many volunteers, donors, and recipients in the Delaware Valley area.
