“AARP Driver Safety Refresher Course” on Wednesday, February 5th at noon-4:30pm.

Learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle safely in today’s increasingly challenging environment as well as how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. 

Learn how to reduce the likelihood of a crash, proper use of new technology found in cars today, effects of medication on driving, and the importance of eliminating distraction.

Must have taken an AARP Safety Course within the last 3 years.

“Crazy 8’s Math Club” on Thursday, February 6th – March 26th at 4:30pm.

For grades 2 – 5. Discover how fun math can be: build glow-in-the-dark structures, crack secret spy codes, and play get-up-and-move games like Toilet Paper Olympics.

“Mommy & Me Class with Action Karate” on Saturday, February 8th at 11:00am.

For ages 3 – 5 with ANY adult. Join Action Karate for a special Mommy & Me class at the library! All grownups welcome: moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.!

“Spotlight on the Author: Fred Antil – Unknown Lincoln” on Wednesday, February 12th at 7:00pm.

Join local author, Fred Antil, as he discusses lesser known facts about Abraham Lincoln as well as his book A Lincoln Treasure Trove.

“Gaming Club Mexican Train Dominoes Edition” on Thursday, February 13th at 11:00am.

Learn how to play this fun twist on dominoes! The object of the game is for a player to play all their dominoes onto one or more chains, starting from a central station.

“CD  Suncatchers” on Tuesday, February 18th at 2:00 – 4:00pm.

 Ages 5 – 18. Make a shiny suncatcher using an old CD. Registration is NOT required. Drop in anytime between 2:00 and 4:00pm.

“Pokemon Escape Room” on Tuesday, February 25th at 6:30pm.

Grades 5 – 12. Can you solve the clues before it’s too late?
