Langhorne Rotary news

For several years the Langhorne Rotary has been part of the activities at the Winter Wonderland at Woods in Langhorne.

They join in encouraging all ages to come to the Woods Service Campus on Friday and Saturday, December 6th and 7th, for the free indoor/outdoor, family-friendly event.

There will be something for everyone.

Rotarians have had the experience of helping Woods School residents purchase, with small change, items that have been donated, so they can give their family members presents.

Rotary members and Interact students from Neshaminy High School are there to help them choosing and wrapping the gifts.

The Rotary also encourages donations to the annual Secret Santa program.

Last year more than 300 residents who stayed with Woods School over the holidays had their wish list addressed.

Contact Wood Services for details.

In October the Langhorne Rotary circulated 20 large collection boxes to organizations throughout the local community to collect non-perishable food goods.

The donations were then distributed by Rotarians to three food pantries during the Thanksgiving holidays.

Rotary thanks all those who contributed.
