Please attend the library’s Opioid Addiction Awareness and Narcan Training on Tuesday, December 10th at 7:00pm.
The Narcan is provided through a grant funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Human Services.
Along with Narcan training, attendees will also learn critical response instructions for an overdose.
On Thursday, January 23rd at 6:30pm, meet the author Liz Moore as she presents her new novel, “Long Bright River.”
This fast-paced novel follows the story of two sisters set against a Philadelphia neighborhood rocked by the opioid crisis.

Read to the Dogs every first Saturday of the month, 11:00am-noon, grades K-6 – December 7th and January 4th.
Stay & Play on Monday, December 16th at 10:00am, for ages 2-6 – make a play date at the library.
Fairy Tale STEAM on Wednesday, December 18th at 4:30pm, grades K-2. “Gingerbread Man” – hear the story and then participate in fun STEAM projects.
Shoebox Project – Monday, January 20th.
To honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the library will be hosting a “Day of Giving” service project partnered with the United Way.
Pick up a shoebox on January 20th and fill it with items appropriate for a preschool/kindergartener (socks, mittens, toothbrush, crayons).
Return the box by February 14th so they can spread the love!
