Good tidings little helper elves of Morrisville. Yeah, it’s that time of year again.
I know I’ve been semi-naughty. Just enough to make me nervous.
I want that Red Rider BB gun but I’m not willing to stick my tongue to a frozen flag pole.
However it is the season for forgiveness and goodwill towards men so I still hold hope for that Red Rider.
But it’s not all about getting, the true holiday spirit is about giving.
In that spirit, our club donated 20 Thanksgiving dinners with all the trimmings to Morrisville families less fortunate than many of us, or some just down on their luck.
Our “Harvest Day Celebration” on November 2nd was a great success. The neighborhood came out and gave their support, along with 30 vendors.
Our first annual fishing trip was another great success, 13 guys and gals on a 70-foot boat, a beautiful day with beautiful seas and 18 stripers caught.
The camaraderie was high and everyone went home with fish fillets.
We have gained 10 new members in November and we’re looking forward to you joining too.
Happy holidays from all here.
