Fall is happening at Northampton Library

Come out for some fabulous fall fun at the Free Library of Northampton Township, 25 Upper Holland Road, Richboro.

Beth Allen, the Hip Chick, returns to help you survive a multitude of home disasters with “Home Disasters 101” on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00pm. 

Obtain tips on how to implement proactive measures and avoid costly mishaps.

Approaching 65 years of age and confused about Medicare?  Then attend “Know Your Medicare Options on Monday, November 11th at 6:30pm, and learn how Medicare works. Registration for this session is encouraged.

Join Jessica Gershenfeld of the YWCA on Tuesdays, November 12th, 19th, 26th, December 3rd and 10th for a series of programs related to career development. 

Topics include Job Search Strategies, Resume and Cover Letter Writing, Interview Techniques and Mock Interviews.

On Thursday, November 21st at 7:00pm, Alisa Dupuy presents “Female Spies of World War II.” Ms. Dupuy portrays the British spymaster Vera Atkins, and you will be amazed as she expounds upon the many American women who served their country as Allied spies.
Sit in on Saturday, November 16th at 1:00pm for a telling of “Stone Soup.” 

Then enjoy chicken noodle soup and bread. Registration is required. Please bring a canned item for the local food pantry. 

Maker Lab continues on Tuesday, November 26th at 4:30pm for grades 3-5, and create holiday ornaments. Registration is required. 

An “Ugly Sweater Party” is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4th at 7:00pm for all ages.  There will be music, refreshments and prizes for “best” sweaters – be creative and crazy. Registration is required. 

Calling all teens! Teen Community Service Day at the Library is Sunday, December 8th from 1:00-4:00pm.
