This, its 17th annual culinary event, raised over $62,000 to benefit individuals who need hospice or memory care programs.
Over 150 people attended the Gala, held at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown.
Guests enjoyed a seasonal, four-course, seated dinner.
The Gala also featured live music and auctions, all in a beautiful setting.
Chandler Hall, a 501(c)3, relies on grants and donations from individuals, organizations and corporations including its major sponsors.
The Culinary Gala also received support from additional event sponsors, donors, local establishments and individuals who donated auction items or services.
“It’s wonderful to see our community come together to support Chandler Hall and our mission to provide dignified care,” states Dakia McMillian, Chandler Hall’s Executive Director. “We are grateful for everyone who is part of the Chandler Hall family.”
All proceeds from the event benefit individuals who need hospice or memory care at Chandler Hall.
Chandler Hall’s hospice program serves over 600 individuals and their families annually with dignified care and support, either in their homes or in Chandler Hall’s Hospice Pavilion.
Chandler Hall’s secured Hicks Memory Care unit provides specialized care and a safe environment for those suffering with memory impairment.
Contributions toward the evening’s special appeal will support the creation of a dementia-friendly library, which will include technology, resources and furnishings to support and enhance interactions with those struggling with cognitive challenges.
Chandler Hall Health Services is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community serving older adults in the Quaker tradition.
