Third Annual Zumba Dance Party supporting women & men with breast cancer

A Celebrate Life Zumba Party will be held at PEAC Health, Fitness, and Community, 1440 Lower Ferry Road, Ewing, NJ, on Saturday, October 26th.

Hosted by Connie Cifelli and Julie Raffel, both breast cancer survivor and “thrivers,” this fun and fabulous event supports The Healing Consciousness Foundation (HCF).

The HCF’s mission is “To improve the quality of life for those at high risk for, or diagnosed with, breast cancer through education, lifestyle modifications and holistic healing.”

Funds raised by this Zumba party will assist the HCF in funding services that standard health care does not cover, but which are vitally needed by women, men, and their families when faced with a breast cancer diagnosis.

HCF funded services empower them and their families to reduce their risk factors and realize their full healing potential.

Breast cancer patients face challenges that extend far beyond their diagnosis and treatment.

It is the HCF’s belief that when a patient is fighting for life, they should not be forced to fight to make life a little bit easier during a very difficult time.

The HCF provides funds to help patients with deductible and out- of-pocket expenses for services including counseling, nutritional support, weight management, exercise training, and meditation. Holistic services such as therapeutic massage and guided imagery for stress and pain are also encouraged.

Funds are also provided to cover the cost of post-operative items such as lymphedema sleeves, breast prostheses, wigs and post-surgical garments.

Registration is now and tickets can also be purchased at the door. Check in for the event is at 2:30pm.

Zumba begins at 3:00 and ends at 4:00. Refreshments are from 4:00 to 5:00.

The cost is a $25 donation fee by cash or a check made out to Healing Consciousness Foundation.

To register prior to the event, contact Connie Cifelli at conniebcbf@gmail.com or Julie Raffel at Julesraf@aol.com.
