Saturday, October 12th at 2:00pm – Fred Miller presents his newest lecture-in-song with “Cantare! – The Italian Presence in American Popular Song.”
On Thursday, October 17th at 7:00pm, historical re-enactor Michael Jesberger presents “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and the Hessians.” In this program, one of America’s oldest and beloved short story is explored.
Mr. Jesberger explains the connections to actual events that occurred in the Hudson Valley during the American Revolution.
The library will hold an Opioid Awareness and Narcan Training on Monday, October 21st at 6:30pm. The Narcan is provided through a grant funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Human Services. Along with the Narcan training, attendees will also learn critical response instructions for an overdose.
Fairy Tale STEAM Program – Wednesday, October 16th at 4:30pm for grades K-2. Every third Wednesday of the month – October’s story is “Little Red Riding Hood.” Hear the story and participate in STEAM projects.
Beginning Yoga for Teens is Wednesday, October 23 at 6:00pm. Try this fun introduction to Yoga with instruction, history, and postures. Bring a beach towel.
Grins & Grins Comedy Show Thursday, October 24th at 7:00pm, a family event all ages. Laugh yourself silly with this comedy-variety show that uses juggling and much more!
Barn Center Traveling Story Time – with live animals is Monday, October 28th at 11:00am. The story is “Rumble in the Jungle” and meet a tropical animal.
On Monday, November 5th at 11:00am, the story is “Verdi” and meet a real snake.
“Trick or Treat at the Library” is Thursday, October 31st, all day and all ages. Come dressed in costume.
Twilight Tales, every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm.
Tuesday, November 5th – “All About Dogs.”
