Saving feline lives is expensive work. But this autumn, that labor of love is getting a boost from a matching donation challenge.
Tabby’s Place: A Cat Sanctuary rescues the neediest cats – like Jude, a tuxedo kitten born with hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain).
Jude suffered terrible seizures, and it was unclear whether she would survive kittenhood. Few rescue organizations could handle such a fragile little feline.
But Tabby’s Place is devoted to cats in the most desperate circumstances.
Once a cat comes to the sanctuary, she receives the promise: you will get everything you need to thrive, whatever the cost.
And so, there would be hope for baby Jude, who would visit a veterinary neurologist and receive tender, ‘round-the-clock care throughout her delicate babyhood.
Cats like Jude need immediate – and expensive – care. Tabby’s Place created the Linda Fund to provide this specialty treatment. And, this fall, donations to the Linda Fund will be doubled.
Cat lovers are encouraged to visit www.tabbysplace.org to make a gift of love.
Donations of any amount will be matched by benefactors, going twice as far for cats in desperate need.
As for brave baby Jude? Against all odds, and thanks to the Linda Fund, Jude is now a thriving “teenager.”
Her seizures have eased, and she’s giddy and growing like a sunflower.
By donating to the Linda Fund, compassionate cat-lovers can make such miracles possible for many more kitties like Jude.
But, gifts will only be matched this fall, so the time is now to save feline lives.
