The Bucks County Singers have been wowing audiences for over 35 years, and ends their season singing at the Music Pier on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ, on Memorial Day weekend.
The Singers offer a wide variety of music including pop, standards, Broadway show tunes and patriotic selections.
The chorus performs at retirement and nursing facilities, private parties, church functions and each December at the St. Mary’s Lights of Love event in their Victorian garb.
The Singers are the host chorus for an annual Voices of Bucks concert, where several local choirs are invited to join together for an afternoon of music.
“Voices” this year will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at 3:00pm, at the New Life Christian Church, Newtown.
The chorus in under the direction of Terry Boyle Greenland, vocal performer and professor at the University of the Arts.
Accompanist for the Singers is Marilyn Clark, a recently retired music educator with the Neshaminy School District
If you are interested in spreading the joy of music and learning some movements accompanying the music, they invite you to their rehearsal on Tuesdays at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 100 Washington Avenue, Newtown.
