Helping to feed those in need

Lower Southampton Township recently collected food in the Battle of the Hamptons competition to help feed those in need by stocking the food pantries at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church and Assumption BVM Church, both in Feasterville.

The drive collected 1,341 pounds of non-perishable foods for the St. Stephen’s pantry and 1,693 pounds of non-perishable foods for the Assumption Church pantry for a total of 3,034 pounds of food items.
