Upcoming Rev War re-enactment at Moland House

Join the Warwick Township Historical Society for the re-enactment celebrating Washington’s August 1777 Neshaminy encampment on Saturday, August 17th, 10:00am to 4:00pm, at Historic Moland House, 1641 Old York Road, Hartsville.

Honor all the men and women of the American Revolution who fought for our independence with the First Crossing Volunteer Militia and other re-enactors who engage in skirmishes and representations of colonial life.

Many activities are planned including Benjamin Franklin demonstrating 18th century technology; 18th century music, spinning, barrel making, woodworking, distilling, blacksmithing, puppet shows, 18th century children’s toys and games, lace making, rug making, folk painting, archaeology and tours of the Historic Moland House.

The gift shop will be open and Light Refreshments will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the continued preservation of the Moland House property.
