Feasterville Rotary awards two scholarships

Feasterville Rotary awarded two scholarships in June from the Elizabeth Moyer Scholarship Fund.

The fund was started by a Rotary Club member in remembrance of his wife.

Each year, on Palm Sunday, Feasterville Rotary hosts a fun-filled Pancake Breakfast to contribute to the scholarship fund.

This year, Feasterville Rotary was able to award two scholarships to well-deserving students who will be attending college in the fall.

The two students are Christian Huber and Sanskarr Gupta.

Sanskarr graduated from Neshaminy High School and will be attending Drexel University.

Sanskaar will study in Drexel’s five-year BS/MS program, majoring in Chemical Engineering.

Christian was homeschooled for 12 years and will be attending Bucks County Community College.

Christian told the Rotary Club that he volunteers in the special needs ministry at Calvary Chapel.

He has a passion for this because he has a physical disability himself.

He plays piano for the special needs group at his church, and he loves it, therefore, his ultimate goal is to become a music therapist.

Congratulations and good luck to Christian and Sanskarr!
