Central Bucks Rotary kicks off 10th year with Change-Over Dinner

Rotary Club of Central Bucks outgoing club president Kathi Atkinson handed over the gavel to incoming president Jake Taylor at the club’s Change-Over Dinner on June 25th.

The evening meeting was also an opportunity to look back over the club’s accomplishments in FY 2019 and forward with inspiration at goals the new president has identified.

Kathi noted the huge success of the 10th Annual Ride for the Heroes, the club’s primary fundraiser, that raised thousands of dollars for organizations benefiting wounded veterans, the families of fallen heroes and the Central Bucks Rotary Foundation.

She also praised the recently completed renovations to the Fraternal Order of Police Picnic Grove in Bedminster.

Jake Taylor is a charter member of the nine-year-old club. He urged members to consider the objectives on which their Rotary club was established and to use those to guide their efforts through the year ahead.

He recalled not only the 4-Way Test that all Rotarians embrace, but also the goals to do good in the community, build strong relationships and have fun.
