Come out for some sensational summer fun at the Free Library of Northampton Township, 25 Upper Holland Road, Richboro.

On Saturday, August 10th at 2:00pm, join Steve Pollack for a multi-media presentation of “Music and the Brain.” 

Music and sound are hard-wired in human brains, and this program explores the physical, emotional, and intellectual connections we have with music.

There will be live music performances. Approaching 65 years of age and confused about Medicare?  

Then attend “Know Your Medicare Options” on Monday, August 12th at 6:30pm. 

Learn how Medicare works and, what Part “D” is, and the difference between Medicare and Medicare Advantage. Registration is encouraged but not required. 

“How to Help Your Student Elevate their Math Skills this School Year” is a free workshop conducted by teacher Matt Groden on either Tuesday, August 20th at 7:00pm or Tuesday, August 27th at 7:00pm. 

As an experienced teacher, Mr. Groden shares strategies on solving math problems as well as creative study techniques.

With these tips, parents can help their child become better math students.

Music Fun with Dayle, Ages 2-6: Tuesdays, August 13th, and August 20th at 11:00am. 

Artemis Spaceship Simulator, grades 6-10: Thursday, August 8th at 7:00pm.

Play-Doh Play Time Ages 2-6:  Monday, August 12th at 11:00am.

Stories in Action Space Lab Grades K-2:  Tuesday, August 13th at 4:00pm. 

Play-K Kindergarten Readiness Program – for children who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall – Friday, August 16th at 1:30pm.

A fun interactive learning session where kids are free to explore stations around the room created for an interactive learning experience. 

Play-K is aligned to the Pennsylvania’s Learning Standards for Early Childhood with the goal of promoting early learning.
