Bucks Foodshed 5K & 3K Walk at DelVal U. August 31st

Bucks County Foodshed Alliance (BCFA) is hosting its Fifth Annual Bucks Foodshed 5K & 3K Walk.

BCFA invites runners and lovers of local food to Run and Walk for Our Farms on Saturday, August 31st, on Delaware Valley University’s campus.

The Foodshed 5K is a timed run with multiple prize categories. The 3K Walk is for families, groups, or individuals and includes an optional Scavenger Hunt for kids. The 5K sets off at 8:30am and the 3K Walk will begin at 9:00am.

All proceeds benefit BCFA’s Small Farm Grant Program. The Small Farm Grant Program provides small farms with small grants that make a big impact and allows our farmers to continue to grow their farms.

These grant funds enable farms to participate in annual farming conferences, fund small capital improvements, such as hoop houses, movable chicken houses, and critical infrastructure equipment, enhances farm product marketing, and more!

Registration is now open at BucksFoodshed.org/5k. The 5K is $25. Register early to save money! The price increases to $30 after June 30th through race day.

The 3K Walk & Scavenger Hunt is $10. Registration for both the 5K and 3K ends on August 28th. Same-day registration is available on race day.

The event is rain or shine, and no refunds can be issued. Race t-shirt provided for all 5K and 3K Walk registrants while supplies last.
