The Bucks County Women’s Advocacy Coalition is planning a new series of informal evening events to introduce itself to the wider community and attract more members.

The first event, scheduled for June 19th from 6:00 until 8:00pm at the Silverman Gallery, 4920 York Rd., Buckingham, features Sally Fabian-Oresic, executive director of the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic. As head of the free clinic, which provides medical and dental care for Bucks County’s uninsured, low-income adults and children, Fabian-Oresic will discuss the obstacles to healthcare and their effects on women and families in need.

The casual wine and cheese gatherings are a great way to both learn about critical issues surrounding the “Economics of Women and Work” and engage with others about the impact and needs of BCWAC. Each Salon will host a special guest who will briefly discuss a relevant top and be available afterward for conversation with guests. The salons are designed to host between 20 and 30 people.

To encourage meaningful conversation around topics of concern to women, Salon events will be held in intimate venues across Bucks County, Voluntary donations will be requested.
