ALL THE GOOD NEWS THAT’S FIT TO PRINT - 10 PUBLICATIONS - OVER 350,000 READERS PER MONTH! - CHAMPION OF NON-PROFITS

Dear Editor,

I would like to thank everyone who took part in the May 11th Letter Carriers Food Drive, from the customers who left food at their mailboxes and especially to the Letter Carriers who picked up the food.

Without the Letter Carriers there would not be a food drive.

Special thanks to Monsignor Eckert, the pastor of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, for the use of the YMCA, where the sorting and boxing took place.

The Morrisville Police Officers who weigh the food.

Jo Ann and Diane for organizing the unloading, sorting, and boxing of the food, the many volunteers and retirees from the Morrisville Post Office who helped in picking up the food on the walking and riding routes, and all the volunteers who helped in the unloading, sorting, and boxing of the food.

We collected 29,000 pounds of food this year. The food was distributed to four food banks in the 19067 zip code.

Sincerely,

Frank Powell
Food Drive Coordinator
Morrisville Post Office
