Peking Tokyo: Offering four styles of food in one restaurant

by Tianna G. Hansen

Now open in Pine Watson Shopping Center in Langhorne Borough, Peking Tokyo offers all you and your family could desire in one spot.

Its name alone is a mix of Chinese and Japanese culture, marking it as a fusion of the two cuisines as well as Thai and Vegetarian.

“We offer a wide menu to our customers,” said Sophie Li, manager. “What’s really unique is our offering of Vegetarian dishes using the chicken flavor Seiten and veggie duck.”

Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike will love these meals, offering something a little different than what you may normally eat with options such as General Tao’s Seiten, Seiten Teriyaki, and Mango Duck (fresh mango, bell pepper, sugar peas and veggie duck in Thai mango sauce).

Seiten is a meat substitute which Peking Tokyo imports from New York City, a delicacy for Vegetarian dishes on the menu that is unique to many restaurants in the area.

The owner George Zhu is proud to offer their wide variety of foods and oversees daily operation of the store to upkeep a high quality and standard.

Whether you’re looking for traditional Chinese food or something different, Peking Tokyo has what you’re looking for – maybe you’ll try something new.

Sit in and enjoy their welcoming, warm atmosphere with plenty of seating areas and a beautiful décor that will make you forget you’re in Langhorne.

They have a state of the art sushi bar with a trained Sushi Chef where you can sit and watch the chef prepare your sushi.

“People enjoy watching their food being made, we love offering that to them,” says Sophie.

Thai food is a newer offering at Peking Tokyo. Their chefs are trained in Thai food and offer specialties like Pad Thai, curry dishes and Pineapple Thai Style (bell pepper, zucchini, pineapple in sweet & spicy pineapple sauce).

Peking Tokyo offers lunch specials from 11:00am until 3:00pm with deals you can’t find elsewhere, and dinner combo platters served with white, brown or fried rice, an egg roll and a garden salad.

Their prices are unbeatable and the quality of the food is top-notch plus the variety they offer can’t be matched anywhere.

Peking Tokyo also offers catering, and is open to corporate meetings or groups with their lively atmosphere and delectable dishes, you won’t want to go anywhere else for your Chinese, Sushi, Thai or Vegetarian meals again.
