Dear editor,

On September 12th, 2018, I had a fire at 108 Pennsylvania Avenue in Yardley.

After 70 years living in the home it was difficult to watch it burn. My wife, Gloria, and I were there and we got out safely.

Many thanks to the following family members, our neighbors, and friends, and many I don’t know, for all their gifts and help:

Jeff and Terry Miller, Carl and Mary Beth Perella, Tom and Jennifer Campbell, Tom and Sue Wells, Bob and Cathy Staples, Tom and Kerrie Anderson, all the neighbors on Pennsylvania Avenue, my sons Frank and Russell Hunter, granddaughter Ashley Hunter and her family, my sister Ann Maurer and her children and grandchildren, Squirrel’s Nest Cafe in Morrisville, niece Linda and husband John Hannings, nieces Diane Kelly and Denise Swanekamp, Dr. Penna and all the girls at his office, Yardley Borough Manager  Paula Johnson, Stephanie H. Schrader, and the neighbors at Yardley Walk.

Thank you to all for your help.

Sincerely,

Gloria, Frank, and David Hunter
