Feasterville Rotary hosting pancake breakfast April 14th

As part of its effort to raise funds for the Elizabeth Moyer Scholarship Fund, the Feasterville Rotary Club is hosting a special pancake breakfast to be held at MEI Catering, located in Twinning Hall, 4900 Street Road, Trevose, on Sunday, April 14th from 8:00am to noon.

The public is invited.

According to Gail Chamberlain, president of the Feasterville Rotary, “The benefit breakfast also will feature an appearance by the Easter Bunny, as well as gift basket raffles and crafts for the children. Parents are encouraged to bring along a camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.”

Every year, the Feasterville Rotary awards two or three $1,200 college scholarships to qualified high school seniors through the Elizabeth Moyer College Scholarship Fund.

The scholarships are based on academic achievement, community service and financial need.

Since its inception 36 years ago, the fund has awarded more than $152,000 in scholarships. Tickets for the charity breakfast benefit are $7 for adults and $5 for children and may be purchased at the door (children under three are free).
