Laughter can be found at Bristol Riverside Theatre in Neil Simon’s “The Sunshine Boys,” running March 12th through 31st. The humorous and touching play is directed by Bristol Riverside Theatre’s artistic director Keith Baker.
Previews begin Tuesday, March 12th, with opening night set for Thursday, March 14th.
The cast features BRT favorites Demetria Joyce Bailey (Gypsy), Nicole Benoit (The Producers), Jason Silverman (Laughter on the 23rd Floor), Carl Wallnau (Triumph of Love, Laughter on the 23rd Floor), and newcomer Allen Lewis Rickman (Broadway: Relatively Speaking with Marlo Thomas).
Al and Willie, a famous vaudeville duo, haven’t spoken to each other in over a decade. When a big TV network attempts to bring the two legendary (and cranky) comics together one last time, it turns out to be easier said than done.
Neil Simon’s “The Sunshine Boys” is a touching story full of memories, regrets, and the laughter that accompanies lifelong friendship.
