At Snipes Farm Day Camp children and youth ages 5-17 unplug and have fun outdoors on a working farm.
Campers have adventures in the woods, creek, fields and gardens. They care for animals, enjoy arts and crafts, play games, pick berries, cook with fresh ingredients and make special friends.
The Camp Leadership Program for youth ages 12-14 adds team building, camp service projects, and a weekly lunch-making extravaganza. The Counselor-in-Training program requiring a two-week commitment, provides youth ages 15-17 with job readiness skills while being a support to the camp program.
Reflections of one parent: “We thought this could finally be a ‘one of a kind’ summer experience for our son. To our delight it was and much, much more. He couldn’t wait to go every day. He loved being able to interact with the farm animals every day. He came home dirty and tired and in love with the farm!”
