The Bucks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame will hold its annual induction on Thursday, April 11th at Brookside Manor in Philadelphia. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30pm.
Eleven living inductees, three deceased and two Legends will be honored at the dinner.
Living inductees are Bob Grupp (Neshaminy, football, baseball); Jack Dunn (Neshaminy athlete, Bensalem coach, wrestling, football); Cindy Daeche Curley (Neshaminy, field hockey, basketball, softball); Kip Kiefer (Pennsbury, soccer, wrestling, track and field, football); Marybeth Freeman (Council Rock, field hockey); Donna Runyon (Pennsbury, field hockey, basketball, softball); Maureen Flynn Martin (Council Rock, field hockey); Karl Kremser (Woodrow Wilson, track and field, soccer); Chad Bailey (Harry S. Truman, wrestling); Tara Schmucker (Central Bucks East, field hockey, basketball, lacrosse); Bobby Hill (Council Rock, wrestling, soccer).
Deceased inductees are Lisa Laskow Adams (Central Bucks East, swimming, field hockey, lacrosse); Fred Lening (Fairless Hills, professional bowler) and Dr. Lilyan Wright (Langhorne, athletic director at Trenton State College, field hockey umpire).
Legends are Miki DeBaise (former longtime Holland resident, field hockey, lacrosse, tennis) and Linda Nixon (Central Bucks, field hockey).
Tickets for the induction are $45 per person and can be purchased online at buckscountysportshof.org or by calling 267-994-9810.
No tickets will be sold at the door.
