With a mission that focuses on ovarian and gynecological cancers, the Teal Tea Foundation (TTF) raises ovarian cancer awareness and supports research for early detection of ovarian cancer as well as for a cure for ovarian cancer.
The Foundation, staffed entirely by volunteers and funded by donations, was organized in 2008 by Morrisville resident and ovarian cancer survivor Jean Shipos, along with her family and friends.
TTF sponsors the Give Women A Lift program to provide transportation assistance to women who are ovarian/gynecological cancer patients in need who can’t pay for travel costs to oncology treatment and doctor visits that serves the state of NJ and seven counties in Southeastern PA.
The TTF’s showcase fundraiser is the Teal Tea scheduled this year on May 5th, at John Henry’s Stone Terrace, Hamilton, NJ.
This year’s theme is “Cinco de Mayo.”
With a “Cinco de Mayo” menu, silent auction and more, donations, sponsorships and purchasing ads are welcome to support this annual event.
Come and join in the fun! Doors open at noon.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day at TTF’s Valentine Tea held on February 9th at the New Leaf Tea Shoppe, Riverton, NJ.
Romy Toussaint will present, “Energy Up! Energy Down! Self Awareness and Self Care Through Yoga and Mindfulness!” as event guest speaker.
Volunteers are welcome to support individual events or to become more active members.
