Solid Rock Youth Center – Now year ‘round with their Summer Day Camp

Registration is open for kids ages six through 12 to attend Solid Rock Youth Center’s Summer Day Camp!

Each new theme is a weeklong adventure. Themes include: pirates, Magic School Bus, Narnia, and more.

Before and after care is available.

Activities are vast, including: literacy, art, STEM, games, sports, water activities, and human hamster balls with lots of projects and crafts to take home.

Camp runs for nine weeks, starting on June 24th. Visit their website for easy online registration and payment.

During the school year, the SYRC is the one place in Morrisville that youth can safely hang out and have fun for free!

Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to attend every Friday and Saturday night from 6:00-9:00pm.

At least once a month, there is a family night, such as a game night or festival.

Located at 150 Harrison Avenue, they have band equipment, gaming systems, computers, and games such as pool, the Rock Café, and lounge areas. A different event happens every night from painting rocks to sports and team games.

All events are designed by the volunteer staff to help them pursue recreational, educational, and spiritual development.

The teens learn character building, communication skills, life skills, problem solving, and teamwork.

The formal Fireside Hall and SRYC are available to rent and Morrisville residents receive a discount.

The SRYC is a nonprofit.
