The Michael F. Sherlock Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered in Morrisville.
The Foundation was established by Mike’s wife, Nancy, and their three children, after he lost his battle with cancer at the age of 50 in 2002.
The Foundation now serves as an enduring memorial to Mike to share his love for music, and to further his philosophy to embrace every moment life offers.
The Michael F. Sherlock Foundation supports a range of cultural and research activities, most notably the annual Morrisville Jazz Festival, which takes place each August, in Williamson Park and has featured acts such as The Brubeck Brothers, Eric Mintel, Monday Blues Band and local musicians and bands.
A fun, family-friendly event, the Jazz Festival has become a mainstay of the Morrisville community since its inaugural show in 2003.
The Foundation also supports cancer research through donations to existing medical and other non-profit entities.
The Foundation accepts individual and corporate donations mailed to The Michael F. Sherlock Foundation, 424 West Bridge Street, Morrisville, PA 19067.
The Foundation also hosts periodic fundraisers such as the Comedy Showcase every year.
