Kalmia Club of Lambertville

Kalmia Club (www.kalmiaclub.org) is a non-profit women’s civic organization that hosts an annual garden tour each June to raise money for scholarships for local young women and other community outreach.

The club meets at 7:15pm the second Monday of every month (except July and August) at its historic pink clubhouse at 39 York Street, Lambertville.

Each meeting generally features fascinating speakers on topics of local interest, along with occasional one-woman performances and an annual Book Night. Club members also donate to the local food bank, participate twice-yearly in a community luncheon and give annually to Wrapping Presence, which provides gifts to residents of area nursing homes. New members are always welcome.

The club’s annual Hidden Gardens of Lambertville Tour is a self-guided walking tour that highlights the river town’s most elegant, glorious and elusive hidden gardens.

The tour is always held the second Saturday in June, from 10-4, rain or shine, beginning from the Kalmia Clubhouse.
