Free Library of New Hope and Solebury delivers exceptional personal service to the community

The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury is an independent non-profit community public library dedicated to delivering exceptional personal service to its community.

Located in a small historic building, the library contains over 28,000 items and has a circulation of close to 70,000 a year.

In addition to books, sound books and DVDs, the library also offers a variety of digital resources, including downloadable audio and e-books, digital magazines, and research databases.

Kindles and museum passes are also available for borrowing with a valid Bucks County public library card.

A 3-D printer is available for public use.

The Library also offers a variety of programming for patrons of all ages free of charge.

Membership is free to all residents of Bucks County.

The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury offers its patrons reciprocal borrowing privileges within the Bucks County library system, and is partially funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Solebury Township, and New Hope Borough.

The library also relies on special fundraising and on the generosity of its community to meet its operational budget.

The library is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10:00am until 7:00pm, and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00am until 5:00pm.
