Cops ‘n’ Kids Delaware Valley (CnK) expanded its presence in 2018, promoting children’s literacy and getting books into the hands and homes of children and families in Morrisville, Bristol Borough, Bristol Township and the greater Makefield area.
They were engaged in collecting and distributing thousands of books; reading to children in elementary and middle school classrooms; participating in community events; letting children of all ages select books to take home; and dedicating itself to promoting literacy by sharing the magic of stories and books.
CnK participated in National Night Out and Winterfest in Morrisville; Family Literacy Nights in Morrisville and Bristol Township; Harvest Fest in Yardley; Community Pride Day and Open House at the Yardley Makefield Fire House.
In 2019 CnK welcomes a new partnership with the United Way of Bucks County (UWBC), and is proud and grateful to share office space with UWBC in pursuit of their mutual goal of promoting literacy for children.
