Aark is a one-of-a-kind, non-profit organization staffed largely by volunteers and funded solely by donations.
Each year, the Aark cares for more than 5,500 injured and orphaned animals, making it the busiest wildlife rehabilitation center in the Delaware Valley, and one of the busiest on the East Coast.
Animals treated at the Aark include deer, raccoons, opossums, foxes, squirrels, turtles, bats and groundhogs, and birds of all sizes, including owls, hawks and other birds of prey.
Spring is the busiest time at the Aark, when hundreds of injured and orphaned baby animals are brought in needing intensive care.
An Enchanted Evening with Wildlife is the organization’s most important fundraiser of the year, and sponsorship opportunities are still available to help purchase the special milk, food and medical supplies vital to the Aark’s mission.
