Newtown Chamber Orchestra presenting ‘Soloists on Stage’

The Newtown Chamber Orchestra (NCO) is celebrating its 29th year with two remaining performances in January and May.

On Saturday, January 19th, 2019, 7:00pm at the Church of God’s Love 791 Yardley-Newtown Road, Newtown, their “Soloists on Stage” concert will be comprised of Newtown Chamber Orchestra musicians as well as friends of NCO.

The program will feature another guest appearance of Trenton Brass Quintet under the direction of Karl Megules. Also included for this concert will be Sonata for Tuba and Piano by Paul Hindemith; Leslie Scott Force, tuba and David Beck, piano.

Additionally, a performance of W.A. Mozart’s Oboe Quartet will be performed by NCO principal oboist, Nancy Gaspari, NCO violinist, Madeline Cabano, NCO Music Director, Dr. Russell W. Hoffmann, violist and David Inloes, cellist.

They are pleased to welcome back renowned concert pianist, Dr. Clipper Erickson to perform George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.

Ticket information for individual events include adults $25, seniors $20, students with a valid ID $10, all children 12 and under are admitted free.
