The Newtown Ambulance Squad, serving Newtown Township and Newtown Borough with 24/7 Emergency Medical Services announces its 2019 subscription drive is open for enrollment.
The subscription drive supports both the ambulance squad and those who use the service in several ways.
If a resident requires emergency pre-hospital treatment and transport to a hospital by calling 911 and they are a subscriber, any co-pays or deductible payments for emergency ambulance service will be covered by the subscription plan donation for all of 2019.
If you do not have medical insurance, the cost of your ambulance bill will also be covered.
Your subscription donation is also a tax-deductible donation to the Newtown Ambulance Squad which helps financially support their requirement to be at-the-ready 24/7 365 days per year.
Your donation also helps them maintain their fleet of ambulances, pay for mandatory training of EMT’s and Paramedics, and ensure they can continue to purchase and maintain patient care equipment and medications that they use every day.
In the event that their ambulances are busy on other calls and a mutual aid ambulance service is dispatched from a neighboring municipality, they have reciprocal agreements with the surrounding ambulance squads to ensure you are still covered.
Subscription information was recently mailed to Newtown Township and Newtown Borough residents.
You can subscribe by either mailing in your donation or visiting www.newtownambulance.org and clicking the link for the 2019 Subscription Materials.
