Assistant Principals approved by Pennsbury School Board

The Pennsbury Board of School Directors appointed Vincent DePaola, Jr. and Ryan Regensburg to their new positions as Assistant Principals in Pennsbury at the public School Board meeting held on September 20th.

Mr. DePaola will be the new Assistant Principal at Pennwood Middle School, where he will report to Principal Derek Majikas in this role.

He will replace Richard Rebh, who moved to Quarry Hill Elementary School as Principal at the start of the current school year.

Previously, Mr. DePaola served as Assistant Principal at Pennsbury High School, where his duties included staff evaluation, supervision, and development; evaluation and administration of instructional and educational programs; budget implementation and management; creating the master schedule; office management; organization of student activities; student discipline; and attendance.

Prior to joining Pennsbury in 2010, Mr. DePaola worked in the North Penn School District, where he served as a middle school learning support teacher and eighth grade acting Assistant Principal.

Mr. DePaola has a Master’s degree in Education from LaSalle University and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work from DeSales University.

He holds a Principal’s certificate from Cabrini College.

Mr. Regensburg will join the administrative team at Pennsbury High School, succeeding Mr. DePaola with the responsibilities described above.

He has two years’ prior experience as an Assistant Principal, having served in this position at Pottstown Middle School in the Pottstown School District.

Mr. Regensburg coordinated and implemented a school-wide positive behavior support management system at Pottstown Middle School, and also served as interim building Principal during the summer of 2017.

In this capacity, Mr. Regensburg planned and executed all logistics related to hiring, the master schedule, individual grade level staff and student schedules, and compliance for opening school for the 2017-2018 school year.

He also taught Health and Physical Education at Pottstown Middle School and served as the K-12 Department Chair.

Mr. Regensburg has a Master’s degree in Education from Cabrini College and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Ursinus College.

He obtained his Principal’s certification from Point Park University.
