Makefield Highland Golf Course is one of the top-rated public golf courses in the state and resides on the former Pleasant Valley Estate Farm, with a history tracing back to the early 18th century with acres of beautiful vistas.

These vistas are one of the unique draws to this beautifully maintained and challenging course.

Spirit Golf Management (SGM) has been working closely with Lower Makefield Township and Golf Committee to make sure that even non-golfers can enjoy these beautiful views.

The club has added in some exciting additions such as their new outdoor area called the Manor, featuring a tented pavilion and patio area with cozy outdoor furniture and twinkle lights to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The Manor House and silo provides a rustic estate as a background for their weddings and other events.

“Our goal is always to make a club a place where people can come to feel comfortable and welcome. We have always done well attracting golfers from the community but we are really focused on also attracting the community to experience what a great place the Highlands is to enjoy dining or a night out,” said Mike Attara, founder and president of SGM.

Mike adds, “We are all about the fantastic golf course that we are fortunate to have in the community. With the investment the township is making in the grille and outdoor dining, we now have a great venue for those who are not golfers. We are the only venue in Lower Makefield with a liquor license in addition to our beautiful and historic surroundings.”

Their new grille, deck and patio all offer comfortable modern seating arrangements complete with a fire pit, a delicious menu and weekly specials.

This month, a full arrangement of music and activities are part of each week at Makefield.

They now feature weekly Friday “Parties on the Patio,” including live music and other forms of entertainment.

Makefield Highlands Grille is proud to offer group outings, business lunches, meeting space, birthday and holiday parties, and much more!
