Hopewell Valley Golf & Country Club offers something for the whole family

by Tianna Grosch

September is the perfect month to enjoy to come out and enjoy Hopewell Valley Golf Club, which always feels like a community club to both its’ members and the public community.

Hopewell Valley Golf Club offers a unique sense of a casual yet intimate atmosphere in a beautiful secluded setting just minutes from Princeton and Bucks County.

The club has been revered by its members since 1927.

For most of its history, it was member-owned and operated.

In August 2016, Spirit Golf Management purchased the historic course with a small group of investors.

Hopewell Valley now offers limited public play on courses and the ability to try out the course before committing to a membership.

The golf club has also become more family-oriented under Spirit Golf’s management, and Mike Attara, the founder of Spirit Golf, says “we have re-positioned the membership so that it’s is very affordable for a family to become members.”

“Our goal is to make this an atmosphere where the entire family can come for the day, enjoy their time playing the course, and spend the afternoon or evening at the clubhouse.”

Every week throughout September, the club has events that are open to the public. Tuesday is Ladies’ Day.

Join in with the guys on Wednesday evenings for a quick nine holes after work or come by Friday night for couples’ “Nine and Dine.”

Their sports memberships include the pool, tennis and paddle tennis, a sport that is a busy hub at the club both during the summer, fall and winter as they move from swim and tennis to paddle season.

Call Dave Gilman at 609-466-9070 to take a tour or to learn more about membership.

Stop in and see Jason or Kevin at the bar and then sit under the twinkle lights on the deck.  The first Friday of each month they have live music.

You can always count on our fresh weekly food specials prepared by Chef Brian.

They have some perfect spaces for you to hold events; from business meetings to birthday parties, from weddings to Bat Mitzvahs.
