“Changes are now complete on two new, secure ‘neighborhoods,’ called Harmony Place and Rhapsody Place,” according to regional director of sales and marketing, Deb Shane.
Harmony Place is a neighborhood for residents in earlier stages of dementia or Alzheimer’s and Rhapsody Place is a neighborhood for residents who struggle with the long-term effects of dementia and need more attention.
The neighborhoods have a music-themed design with expanded activities to meet the needs of the residents.
Deb explains, “We found that music is magic in our community. All of our residents, who range in ages from early 70s to late 90s, connect with music, whether it’s patriotic, classical or contemporary. Residents are thriving and their families love it. They love the direct attention and our engaging programming.”
