Morrisville School District and 21st Century Community Learning Centers has begun accepting registration for the Above and Beyond Summer Camp.
This year’s theme is ‘Aloha Summer.’ Registration forms can be found online to print at MSD’s website, mv.org.
Paper copies may be obtained at the front office of participating schools, the Ivins Outreach Center, or from any 21st Century Community Learning Centers, MSD or Holy Trinity staff member.
Completed forms may be returned to the 21st CCLC mailbox located at the front office of your school or to the Ivins Outreach Center, 80 W. Trenton Avenue, Morrisville PA 19067.
Forms must be completed entirely. Space is limited to the first 200 applicants. Counselors will notify you if your child has been accepted. Once space is filled, students will be wait-listed.
To be eligible, campers must reside in Morrisville Borough and entering grades 1-9 at the following schools; Grandview Elementary; Morrisville Intermediate; Morrisville Middle/Senior High or Holy Trinity.
Campers who miss more than five days will not be eligible to continue attending the camp. A mandatory parent meeting will be held Thursday, June 21st in two sessions; 2:00-3:00pm, and 6:00-7:00pm. Parents MUST attend one of the sessions.
Camp will be held Mondays through Thursdays, June 25th-August 2nd, 8:00am-1:30pm. June 25th is first day orientation for grades 5-9 only; June 26th is first day orientation for grades 1-4 only. All campers participate June 27th. Camp is closed July 4th-5th.
Campers will be engaged two hours of academics including English and mathematics, as well as an introduction to STEM on Thursdays. They may also participate in athletics or performance arts.
Athletics has flag football and basketball, or soccer and diamond sports for grades 5-9; flag football, basketball and backyard games, or soccer diamond sports and backyard games for grades 1-4.
Performance arts includes singing, acting, dancing and visual arts. This summer’s showcase is inspired by Disney’s “Moana.”
