Did you know Doylestown Township has an official flag?
The current township flag is the township seal on a blue background, but a true township flag should be much more than that.
In honor of its Bicentennial, anyone with a connection to Doylestown Township is invited to participate in this flag contest.
Designing a flag for Doylestown Township is a great opportunity to represent the township with meaningful imagery that reflects its history and future.
When designing your submission, keep in mind some of the most iconic and striking flag designs in the world are the simplest, using basic elements to represent and unify large groups of individuals.
A successful flag not only showcases the best of a political entity, but also does so in an aesthetically pleasing way.
Design submissions are due June 1st and the winner will be announced July 17th. Winner will also receive a $1,000 prize.
The new township flag will be unfurled this December. Submit your entry by dropping off or mailing to the Doylestown Township Administrative Office, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown or you may e-mail your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org.
