Murphy Foundation partners with Moyer Foundation/Camp Mariposa

The Kaitlin Murphy Foundation has announced a partnership with The Moyer Foundation to support their Camp Mariposa program.

The mission of The Moyer Foundation is to provide comfort, hope and healing to children and families affected by grief and addiction.

Camp Mariposa is a national addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth who have been impacted by substance abuse in their families and is offered free of charge to all families.

Children living in a home with addiction are at four times the risk of developing a substance use disorder of their own – The Moyer Foundation’s programs come alongside children and their families to provide vital support to break the cycle of addiction.

“What the Kaitlin Murphy Foundation is doing for the addiction epidemic is exemplary. We’re thrilled to partner with them in honor of Kaitlin to ensure more children and families receive the care they deserve to live healthy, happier lives as we focus together on breaking the intergenerational cycle of addiction.” – Mary K. FitzGerald, CEO, The Moyer Foundation

“The Kaitlin Murphy Foundation is honored to partner with The Moyer Foundation’s and Camp Mariposa. We’re confident that through Camp Mariposa’s programs, these children will receive the tools they need to thrive throughout their lives.” – Sean Murphy, Kaitlin Murphy Foundation
