The funds donated by The Kaitlin Murphy Foundation will be utilized by the Commission, to purchase curricula for program participants of the HEART Program (Healing, Empowering, And Recovering Together.) The HEART Program is a Women’s Recovery Program at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
This program will provide a recovery opportunity for incarcerated women through an evidence-based program, helping them to build a foundation for long-term recovery.
The Kaitlin Murphy Foundation’s mission is to bring awareness to the addiction epidemic, form a community of fighters to join the battle, and raise the funds needed to support addiction-fighting charities that are already doing the good work on the ground level.
