Central Bucks Family YMCA is a charitable non-profit organization whose purpose is to improve the quality of community life.
The Y strengthens the spirit, mind and body of its members, and has branches in Doylestown and Warminster to better serve the community and provide impact throughout the county.
The organization recently celebrated the first anniversary of their new Warminster branch.
Both branches provide a full-service fitness center, Stay & Play babysitting, personal training, spin classes, group exercise classes, MyZone compatibility and a weight training center to members, with Doylestown members enjoying full access at both branches.
The Doylestown branch also offers an aquatics center with two pools, indoor waterslide and water elements, sauna, hot tub and more.
Members enjoy recreational and lap swim throughout the day as well as swim lesson programming for all ages and a dual-sanctioned swim team for youth age 6-18.
The branch also includes a full sized gymnasium for open recreational use and adult and youth league programming.
Community impact programming is a hallmark of the Y mission with the branches providing impact programs like THRIVE cancer wellness program, Veterans Wellness, Empower U for Teen girls, and Diabetes prevention programs, free or at low-cost to the community.
Financial assistance is also available through an application process to those who qualify.
Membership at the Y is a great way to connect with the community, stay fit and become part of so much more than a gym. For information, visit their website at cbfymca.org or call the branches at 22.214.171.12431 (Doylestown) or 267-387-9623 (Warminster).
