Friends of Morrisville Dog Park goes to the canines

Friends of Morrisville Dog Park (FMDP) is a 501(c)3 Pennsylvania non-profit organization established in 2009 by a dedicated group of volunteers with a mission to create an off-leash dog park in Morrisville to enhance community life.

In the spring of 2010, FMDP and the Borough of Morrisville officially opened a safe, clean and friendly off-leash park for dogs of all sizes to come with their owners to play, exercise and socialize.

FMDP is responsible for the park’s general maintenance, upkeep, improvements and ongoing expenses, and continually seeks to find ways to enhance the park, support its operation, and create the most welcoming environment for all visitors.

In recognition of the park’s value to the Morrisville community, the Borough also contributes to park maintenance by regularly mowing the grass and picking up trash and recycling.

You can visit the park at South Delmorr and East Philadelphia Avenues in Morrisville, free of charge, seven days a week from dawn until dusk.

Rules and regulations for park conduct are clearly posted at the entrance to the park.

From landscaping and beautification costs to the purchase of fencing and waste bags and everything in between, FMDP relies on the critical support of local businesses and area residents. Support the community by supporting Morrisville Dog Park. Become a volunteer or make a donation.
