    Bucks County 4-H

Bucks County 4-H empowers young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. 4‑H programs are grounded in the belief that kids learn best by doing.

Kids complete hands-on projects in areas like science, health, agriculture and citizenship. 4-H programs are available for children ages 8-18. 4-H Cloverbud programs are available for children ages 5-7.

Members join clubs based on their interests and develop their own pathway in 4-H. Some of the clubs that meet once a month include: robotics, outdoor adventures, livestock, small animal science, reptile, horse/pony, heritage, sewing, and community service clubs.

They also have short courses that range from four- to 10-weeks long that include: veterinary science, public speaking, muzzleloaders, .22 rifle, and archery.

In the summer there are weekly Friday camps as well as a weeklong overnight camp.

Members can concentrate on one focus area or they can try a variety of programs throughout their 4-H experience. Membership for the year is $25 (horse/pony $50).
