Boheme Opera NJ

Whether you have experienced live opera or not, you must admit that it is a large theatrical undertaking.

It offers opportunities for extraordinary fledgling talent in music and design, introduces young students to an imaginative world of sound and visual possibilities, and fulfills on-site senior programming like no other entertainment.

Boheme Opera NJ is a regional company in its 29th season that has fulfilled all of these endeavors and continues to keep its art form vibrant and contemporary.

This spring, Boheme Opera will fully stage opera’s most notable double bill of one-act masterpieces:Cavalleria Rusticana” and “I Pagliacci.” Performances are Friday, April 20th at 8:00pm and Sunday, April 22nd at 5:00pm, Kendall Main Stage Theater at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ.

These are real-life stories of jealousy and love betrayed with memorable music that will bring you to the edge of your seat.

Boheme has assembled an outstanding cast, including Metropolitan Opera baritone Michael Corvino, 2017 George London Competition winner tenor Errin Brooks, international artists soprano Eudora Brown, baritone Marcelo Guzzo and tenors Peter Scott Drackley and Eric Rieger, with busy East Coast artists soprano Natalie Polito and mezzo Natalie Rose Havens.

Conductor is BONJ Artistic Director Joseph Pucciatti, Stage Director is Raymond Zilberberg, with the Boheme Opera Chorus and Orchestra.
